Our Shea Butter Mousse begins with 90% of the finest unrefined
organic African
Shea butter. Then we add calendula infused grapeseed and
macadamia nut oils, jojoba oil, mowrah butter, wheat germ butter, wheat
germ oil, and vitamin E. It is then whipped for hours
into a luxurious cream with a light, silky
smooth texture that melts into
your skin,
creating
an
intensive moisturizing treat
to pamper the body’s largest organ – your skin. |

Our whipped shea is not a lotion--it
is a body butter cream.
Lotions
have a very high water content.
Once water is added to make a lotion, it is almost
impossible to create an all natural product and
still keep the bacteria and mold out. That is
why we make
body butters
and solid lotion bars--no
need for chemical preservatives.
This rich and creamy all natural cream is very concentrated,
so
a
little goes a long way. Apply less than you think you need and you
will be surprised at how far a little dab will go.
It may feel a bit greasy at first, but
it melts on contact with your skin and is easily absorbed leaving
your skin feeling ultra soft and supple. Apply to your entire body
as needed throughout the day. It is especially effective if used
when your skin is still warm and damp after bathing or showering.

Whipped Shea Body Butter is the perfect natural creamy treat for all your dry

Our customers who
use our All Natural Whipped Shea as their total body moisturizer
have requested this larger size of our fabulous butter.
- Please remember that a little goes a long way. I do not
usually need a body moisturizer and use the whipped shea as my
facial moisturizer. Depending on the season, the .05 ounce size can last me a month or
two.
-
It is best to apply a little bit of the body butter to see how much is absorbed
by your skin, and if necessary apply a little more. You will soon be able
to judge the amount your skin type needs.
Our natural whipped shea has
no synthetic stabilizers or preservatives
and therefore is a very delicate cream.
-
Each time you place your warm fingers into the
jar, you melt some of the butter and over a period of time this will
change the whipped consistency of the butter.
- Also, your fingers are a source
of contaminants.
- Please use a small spoon,
cosmetic spatula, or craft stick to remove the butter from the
jar--especially if you are buying the larger sizes to use over a long
period of time, .

expensive as the processed refined cosmetic grade shea.
Be sure that the product you are purchasing lists ALL of the
ingredients.
Beware of products that
claim to offer the benefits of shea butter but only contain
a hint
of shea mixed with many other cheaper ingredients.

I can't believe how
wonderful your whipped shea butter mousse is! I had a really
bad crack on my finger which was bleeding due to eczema so I put
your mousse on it at night and the next morning the swelling was
totally gone and the crack was healed, I couldn't believe it!
Well...later I got a really bad cold and my nose was just sooo raw
from blowing and wiping so I decided to test your mousse once
more and I put it on my nose before bed and the next
morning.....no pain!!! May God bless you and your family,
keep those all natural products going!

of all, it's great for my hair! I usually apply a little to my ends
before
going to bed -- then I place my hair into a high bun before going to

Virgin Organic Shea Butter:

Calendula Infused Grapeseed Oil:
very rich in vitamins, minerals and linoleic acid. A very light
and penetrating oil often used for massage. It is a gentle
emollient, leaving the skin with a soft, satin finish. We infuse
the grapeseed oil with skin-loving calendula which helps promote
wound healing, decreases inflammation and moisturizes dry mature
skin.
Calendula Infused Macadamia Nut Oil:
a luxurious oil that easily absorbs into the skin and acts as an
emollient moisturizing your skin cells. Since it is
believed to be an antioxidant, protecting cell membranes from
deterioration, it is great for dry and ageing skin.
Its high palmitoleic acid
content protects the skin just like human sebum--no other known
plant oil has a similar composition. It penetrates quickly and
hydrates the skin .
Infused with skin-loving calendula which helps promote wound
healing, decreases inflammation and moisturizes dry mature skin.

Morwah Butter
is a very emollient butter obtained from
the seeds of the Madhuca (or Butter) tree native to central
India. In India, the butter has both cosmetic and edible
uses.
Morwah
butter is soft solid at room temperature and melts immediately
upon contact with your skin.
It is known to reduce the
degeneration of skin cells, prevent wrinkles and restore skin
elasticity. We love how it feels on the skin!
Jojoba Oil:
chemically a waxy ester that is
derived from a desert plant, jojoba is smooth and non-greasy. Of
all oils it is closest to our skin’s natural sebum. It is balancing
and soothing and is known for its anti-wrinkle properties.
Vitamin E (Tocopherol): a powerful antioxidant and
cell regenerator to protect and repair the cells and may be helpful
in preventing environmental aging.
Wheat Germ Oil
is extracted from the germ (fertile part) of the wheat seed. High
in Vitamins
A,
B1, B2, B3, B6, and
E,
as well as phosphorus, zinc, iron, sulphur, potassium, carotene and
vegetable lecithin, wheat germ oil is a highly nutritive ingredient
in skin care products. It soothes and nourishes irritated skin and
may be helpful with eczema. It is particularly high in
vitamin E, a natural antioxidant, which is believed to
promote skin elasticity,
nourish
skin cells, and prevent moisture loss
resulting in smoother, younger looking skin.
Mature
skin, in particular, will benefit from wheat germ oil.
Cornstarch
soothes irritated skin
and some believe that it
has healing properties.
It helps give
skin a fresh, dry feeling , and leaves it feeling silky and smooth.
Cornstarch helps to cut
the oiliness and adds silkiness to our natural body butters.
Our cornstarch is 100% pure cornstarch made from non-genetically
modified corn. |

Shelf Life:
Our whipped shea is a preservative free product.
It is made in very small batches using the freshest Virgin Shea
Butter available. If stored away from heat it
has a shelf life of about three to
four months. Please keep the jar lid tightly sealed.
When you touch any product with your fingers,
bacteria, mold, etc. from your skin will be transferred to that
item. A little goes a long way--this is why our all natural
Whipped Shea Butter
is packaged in small containers--to keep it fresher longer.

If you live in a warm, humid
climate, make sure to keep your shea butter in a cool, dry place.
Do not leave this product in a hot environment, it will melt.
Keep the Whipped Shea
Butter away from direct sunlight, heaters, and the inside of
your vehicle during warm and sunny weather.
Our whipped shea is a pure and
delicate product. We do not use emulsifiers or stabalizers.
If
it gets too soft or melts, stir it up and place it in the refrigerator for about
20 minutes.
The whipped
consistency will change, but it
will not affect the quality of the product.

ALL NATURAL MOISTURIZER!
Our whipped shea butter is an all natural preservative free
product.
Our Shea Butter does NOT contain petroleum based chemicals (Mineral
Oil, Petrolatum, Paraffin), chemical emulsifiers (DEA, MEA, TEA),
chemical preservatives (Parabens, Urea), Propylene Glycol,
artificial colors, stabalizers, or synthetic fragrances.

Summer Shipping:
Shea butter has a low
melting point. If shipped during warm weather, the product may
melt. If melting at any time occurs, simply place the shea
butter in a cool place and it will harden up. The melting will not
affect the quality of the shea as a great moisturizer, but the whipped
consistency will change.
|
|
|
Whipping adds tiny air
bubbles that increase the size, lighten the density and changes the
texture, making the butter light
and fluffy. If the product melts, the air bubbles are collapsed, so the
volume is decreased. So
although the jar was filled with whipped cocoa butter, if
the whipped butter melts, there will be less volume in the container.
Commercial companies add synthetic stabilizers to creams which helps them
stay creamy even with temperature changes. We do not use synthetic
stabilizers.
We package our Whipped Shea in double walled jars and wrap our jars in bubble wrap.
We have
been pretty lucky so far--but please
remember this when ordering in hot weather! |

ALLERGY
ALERT:
Shea butter contains natural latex.
Although it is not exactly the same as the sap-like latex extract
from the Rubber Tree (Hevea brasiliensis), it is very similar
in chemical composition. Although the quantities of latex in shea
butter are small, this natural latex is responsible for the sealing
property that shea butter has that may aid in protecting your skin and
preventing sun allergies.
Persons suffering from latex allergies should do an allergy
Patch Test before using any shea butter
product. Many people with latex allergies are not affected by
shea butter, but some are, so it is better to be safe than sorry! |
