There are soooo many soaps!
Help Me Choose!

Unlike many other natural soap companies who use the same recipe for every soap selection
and simply change the scent, each of our soap bars contains a different blend
of natural plant oils, essential oils, and herb infused oils.
No two recipes are the same!

Begin with samples.  Make note of the soaps that YOUR skin likes or dislikes--remember no two recipes are the same!   Read the ingredients and you will often find a pattern.  Some skin likes soaps high in olive oil or shea butter.  My skin especially likes soaps high in sunflower, safflower, or grapeseed oil.

COMPLEXION SOAPS:
  • Each of our soap bars is moisturizing and nourishing to skin, and can be used as a facial and body bar.  I use all of my soaps on my face!  Your skin may like some base oils better than others.
  • Soaps that say "Complexion Soap" in their name contain extra ingredients, like special oils, butters, natural botanicals or grains, natural clays, or essential oils that are known to helpful to delicate facial skin.
  Castile & Calendula
Carrot & Honey
Goat Milk Oatmeal Honey
Honey Butter
Grapeseed Shea

Shea Rose Clay

EXFOLIATING SOAPS:
  • Some soaps contain grains, clays, or loofah for exfoliation.
  • Java Spice is the most scratchy.
  • Cornmeal & Honey and Loofah provide gentle but firm exfoliation.
  • Soaps containing oatmeal, Avocado Oats and Shea, Goat Milk Oatmeal, and Lavender Oatmeal are very gentle exfoliants, as is the Rhassoul Clay.
  • Many of our soaps also contain dried herbs, which also add gentle exfoliation.

People with allergies or sensitivities to scents should pay special attention to the essential oils in soaps and shampoos.  Please note that we have received many emails from people who discovered that although they have had adverse reactions to products made with synthetic "fragrance" oils (like synthetic lavender), the natural essential oils caused no problems.

Pregnant women should read our webpage about pregnancy and essential oils.
